The Dragon City is under the threat of annihilation from the onslaught of the armies of Kerafyrm. They are banking on the heroes of. Norrath to come to their aide and this is the setting of the fantasy game called EverQuest II’s Game Update 63: Skyshrine, that is slated for release come April 17.
The expansion of The Destiny of Velious storyline which is now free to play MMO is set to reward long time followers of the series. And the people at Sony are saying the game will be enjoyable for not just old timers but people of all skill levels. They went on to say that the team in charge of developing the game has made a wonderful job of creating story lines that will have the players completely immersed into the game and become part of the story.
They said that it is not just going to be those in the raider’s class that will see and fight these dragons but they have been made to be easily accessed by anyone. This will be the seventh expansion of the game and they have said that the level cap will be raised to 92.
The expanded game starts with the Withered Land that has been left to rot because for some unknown reasons the dragon masters have mysteriously vanished. The players must first go through this land where they will have new encounters. There are over a hundred quests here alone which they can use to beef up their character. They may also encounter mercenaries that will help them along their journey.
This next theater would be the city of Skyshrine itself where players will get to go through the war ravaged city and the dangers within. It is also the base of Kerafyrm who is using it as his launch pad to attack Narrath. But they will meet the Lord of Skyshrine who will enlist them and send them back into the past to see if they can gain the trust of the dragon masters and help stop the war from ever happening.
There are many more goodies lying in wait for players and this is coming from the developers of the game. So if you are an old time player or a newbie, you will have something to enjoy in this new expanded version of the game.
